Squirrel Bridge
March 25, 2023We have had a squirrel living in our large palm tree for a few years now. There are more cats in the neighborhood than ever, and sometimes they chase her and she has to dash up one of the Queen palms that is several feet away. We are always scared she will fall in the pond when jumping from the farthest palm to her home. The King palm also has razor sharp serrated edges! My mom made this adorable squirrel foot bridge so she can easily get from the farthest palm to her home! We have seen her using it several times now!>/p> UPDATE: Not only have we seen both a male and female making a nest, but there are now two babies! They are absolutely the cutest. I could not get my camera fast enough to take pics, but I will soon! Click any image for larger view.
